“Get AIDS and die.” That’s what Oasis’ Noel Gallagher once famously wished upon Damian Albarn, his Blur Britpop rival. It’s tough to come back from that, but Albarn — who replied to Noel’s comment with, “I can’t make up with Noel. Britpop would be over and heaven forbid that we’d ever admit we’d all grown up” — apparently isn’t one to hold grudges (or follow through on his proclamations), because the two musicians performed together at the Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall this weekend.
They may have made nice, but apparently no one alerted Noel’s brother-in-law Liam.
We think he meant to say “Blur,” though Blue Ivy ft. Noel Gallagher isn’t out of the question.
