Earlier this month we told you that Katy Perry intended to use the platform of the Super Bowl halftime show to land an EPIC BURN on her feud-mate, Taylor Swift. Is she really, though? You know how stories like this often get out of hand and people love to feed into juicy gossip and make sh*t up. But no, it is DEFINITELY ON depending how you want to read into this out of context quote Katy Perry gave in an interview with Billboard magazine out today:
Asked about it now, Perry only says, “If somebody is trying to defame my character, you’re going to hear about it.”
That is a confirmation if I’ve ever heard one. I just hope she keeps it subtle and tasteful, like bringing a life-sized cardboard cutout of Taylor Swift out onstage and then roundhouse kicking its head off.
