Carly Rae Jepsen, who took over the nation with “Call Me Maybe” in 2012, is back with a new song, “I Really Like You,” that’s stupid catchy. As in, it’s kind of a stupid single with a lyrically thin chorus, but it’s also stupid how enthusiastically infectious it is. “Really” is the kind of song that you’ll find yourself humming while doing the dishes, or in the shower, or murdering Jepsen and her co-songwriters for jamming this piece of ear-candy into our brains for the next month.
Imagine if they used their powers for good. “I Really Like You,” the song of the late-winter.
