Another day, another Amy Winehouse documentary clip.
As the U.S. release date of Amy draws nearer, the people behind the movie are sharing more and more of the film. We’ve previously seen a clip of Winehouse talking depression and now we have footage from the “Back To Black” studio session, including a shot of Winehouse singing the track a capella.
Producer Mark Ronson details what it was like working with Winehouse in the clip.
“That first day she wrote ‘Back to Black’ all the lyrics, the melody in two or three hours,” he said. “I just caught her in that magic moment.”
Amy debuted in the U.K. last week and broke the record for biggest opening weekend for a British documentary.
