Justin Timberlake is a jack of all trades. With his success in music, TV, and film, there’s a certain sense that he could pretty much handle anything he wants to. But, this week, the pop superstar is going somewhere he hasn’t been since he was a young lad on Star Search: He’s going country.

The “Suit & Tie” singer will be hanging up his dapper look to tap into his down-home Memphis roots with a unique duet. Longtime songwriter and new (yet old) solo artist Chris Stapleton is a personal friend of Timberlake, and the two have decided to pair up for a special performance at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday, November 4 on ABC.

While Stapleton said the two have been trying to get together for a while, he told Rolling Stone: “‘[Timberlake] is obviously one of the greatest musical talents in the world, maybe ever, that we have,’ Stapleton says… ‘I called him up with no thought of him agreeing to it, and he was ready to start planning it right then.'”

The performance will be great, there’s no doubt, but if anything, we’re hoping that Justin can finally accomplish the goal that he set out almost nine years ago in The Lonely Island hit “Dick in a Box”:

We’ll be keeping an eye for backstage photos, Justin. Don’t let us down.
