Well, that’s not totally true. We’ve already named our Song of the Summer, as well as our Song of Every Summer, but “All Night” — the first single from Icona Pop’s upcoming debut album, This Is…Icona Pop — could prove to be just as inescapably prevalent as their smash hit, “I Love It.” Even if you don’t know “I Love It,” you know “I Love It.” It’s been blasted from every car, bodega, nightclub, ironic Walkman, and restaurant since last year, and has been covered by artists as diverse as Titus Andronicus and Florence Welch.
