We shared our thoughts and first impressions of Apple Music, which launched Tuesday to plenty of fanfare. One of the most common complaints from users so far is that it’s hard to find out what song was just playing once Beats 1, the service’s radio station, has moved on to the next song.
The solution? A Twitter account called @Beats1Plays.

Created by Callum Jones, an Australian developer in San Francisco, the account is a Shazam-like supplemental feature for all the music Beats 1 has played since its launch. The account simply tweets the song shorty after it begins playing on Beats 1. Whether you love or hate the song, you now know the title and the artist who created it, making your discovery experience with Beats 1 that much more tailored to your personal preferences. Genius.
