IshDARR – “Locals” (Prod. by !llmind)

IshDARR season is upon us. Milwaukee’s most consistent rapper drops another flawless record for fans and haters alike in “Locals,” offering bouncy vibes from !llmind that continue pushing youngblood’s forward thinking vision and plans for total takeover. The better news is Ish’s new project Broken Hearts and Bankrolls is due up any time now and should be next level in all regards.

Nate Coop and Charity Evaughn – “Emerald Island”

First of all, shout out to my guy Jett I Masstyr, who sent me over Nate Coop and Charity Evaughn’s new instrumental project COLORS, simply because he knows my taste. My man nailed it because the whole project from this talented Texas duo is on point. Every track is optimal, providing cool vibes to match any mood that’s not angry. My personal favorite hue, however, is “Emerald Island.” Filled with tasteful, organic dance vibes that aren’t overdone in the slightest, this is the project’s brightest spot and a record that would turn out any get together with a get down in mind. COLORS is up for free download here.

adhoc – “paradise loft”

One of the SoundCloud comments on adhoc’s “paradise loft” says “S**t’s like Willy Wonka chocolate fountain in my ears.” That’s pretty accurate. Press play on this lucid single from the R&B rapper by way of Toronto x Manchester and you’ll be submerged in swirls of colorful melodies and bubbly bass licks that never stop evolving. This a trip you should book ASAP. Trust me.

Ted Park – “Hello (Who Is This?)” (Prod. by DJ Pain1)

There are a lot of songs about phones these days, but of course. We’re zombies. Either way, Ted Park’s “Hello” is another catchy ditty dedicated to using cellular devices, which is produced by DJ Pain1 and ready to be the latest tune running through all the kids’ ears. The lyrics are a bit obnoxious, but the vibe is hard to deny and my bones to seem to disappear when the track is turned up extra loud. That’s a good thing.

TwonDon – “Shine” Video

TwonDon knows how to take advantage of a video shoot. For the visuals to his silky smooth “Shine,” the New Jersey MC takes his flossy flows to the water, cruising with fine females and plenty of purpose. The polished clip emphasizes Twon’s 90s vibes quite well and makes me wish summer wasn’t coming to close. Cop “Shine” on iTunes.

Kyle Clow – “Maintainin”

Kyle Clow’s “Maintainin” is for folks who miss gangsta rap. This slow-burning banger tells stories like Eazy-E and features production MC Eiht would’ve murked, with Clow offering easy to digest bars and rider vibes that are ready to run up on anyone on the drop of a dime. I wouldn’t mess with this song, but I totally do. If you know what I mean. PORCH drops soon.

Mani Coolin – “Don’t Know”

Since hitting the scene a few years back, Mani Coolin has flexed a variety of styles. On “Don’t Know,” the LA spitter kicks rubber tough bars about sticking to guns at all costs, no matter how he rubs people in the process. Cool’s casual confidence comes across extra peppery atop the low profile West Coast production, which is the style we like from him best.

BlaccOut Garrison – “Sex on the Floor” (Prod. by Chris Calor)

Sometimes a regular convo on the couch can turn into something much more fun. On BlaccOut Garrison’s “Sex On The Floor,” the Brooklyn Park, MN rapper takes it there, explaining how he’s addicted to his lady’s love and can’t help but take advantage of all the square footage of his homestead. The track is super smooth all around, filled with Chris Calor production that even Bob James would approve of. Check out more from Garrison, via his It’s Never Fair But It’s Worth It project, which you can download here.
