We’ve been beating (or ravaging, as it were) the Savages drum for months now, and at last, the debut album from the U.K. post-punk group is here. Silence Yourself, which officially comes out next week, confirms what everyone who saw the band at SXSW already knows: they’re as ferocious as they are determined, and although this is their first album, there’s no early awkward stumbling; they’re ready to pummel you with lovely noise right out of the gate.
