The First Poster For ‘Jurassic World 2’ Was Revealed, So Time To Start Speculating

The first poster for Jurassic World 2 was launched this evening with a hashtag that reads, #somethingscoming. We can only imagine what the second half of the poster reads. Clearly we see an ‘O,’ but not much else. I’m betting on Jurassic Outbreak, but I’m not willing to throw down money in Vegas for it just yet, especially since the film doesn’t come out until 2018. It could also be ‘Outback.’ Maybe it’ll take place in Australia. Just think of the sweet Subaru corporate tie-in!

There’s only a few things that we know so far about Jurassic World 2. Jeff Goldblum is kind of interested in it, J.A. Bayona is set to direct, and there’s rumors of having it being filmed in the UK instead of Hawaii. However, according to JurassicWorld.org, Bayona appeared on a Spanish talk show this week and was hinting at the possibility of the film shooting in Spain.

Bayona replaced Colin Trevorrow, who directed the 2015 film, Jurassic World. The last film was a massive hit, raking in $1.7 billion worldwide, making it the fourth highest grossing film of all time. Something tells me that the follow up film will continue to make all the money, because who doesn’t love dinosaurs and Chris Pratt?

Jurassic World 2 will be released June 22, 2018.
