According to the band’s official Twitter account, pop-punk group Good Charlotte is reuniting and releasing new music. The group, one of the most popular rock acts in the early- to mid-2000s, released a 30-second clip of their new song, which they left untitled, but may be called “Dying Tonight.” After forming in 1996, Good Charlotte released five albums with hits such as “The Anthem,” “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” and “Girls and Boys.” The band disbanded to pursue side projects in 2011 and, until they made a track with Waka Flocka Flame in July, had not been heard from since. The hashtag #WelcomeBackGC has spread on social media, allowing fans to comment and give their thoughts on the band’s reunion. Judging from the tweets, the reunion is overwhelmingly positive news for Good Charlotte fans.
