It’s time for another new Gorillaz track. As the April 28th release date of Humanz draws nearer, the virtual band has made it nearly impossible to look past imminence of the impending album. We’ve already heard five tracks of the record’s supposed 26, including “Hallelujah Money,” “Ascension,” “We Got the Power,” “Saturnz Barnz,” and “Andromeda,” with the latter four having been released in a batch.
Now, as promised, we have another new track in the form of “Let Me Out,” which features both Pusha T and Mavis Staples. Of course, the bumping track premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show, and you can now stream it down below.
If you live in New York, Berlin, or Amsterdam, and you’re interested in hanging out in the Gorillaz’ digital world with real-life incarnations of the virtual band, you’re in luck with the new Gorillaz Spirit Houses. You’ll also have the chance to catch the band live at the inaugural Demon Dayz festival, which will feature appearances all of the Humanz collaborators. They will also appear at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park in August alongside Metallica and The Who, serving as headliners at Outside Lands festival, marking their first live North American appearance in several years.
