Kanye West pled no-contest last March to battery charges stemming from an altercation with a paparazzi at LAX. As part of his state mandated community service, Mr. West is molding young minds at an institution by the name of L.A. Trade Technical College. The best part is that it’s actually helping to boost attendance.
According to TMZ, his work has driven the male population to the school’s fashion design program, bumping it up by nearly 40%. Sure, this is technically community service, but Professor West has apparently been going above and beyond by assigning projects and even offering students personal mentoring.
Kanye’s service is set to end this June, but at least he has that honorary doctor thing to fall back on.
