It appears that Nicki Minaj’s heated exchange with Miley Cyrus at Sunday’s MTV VMAs will not be forgotten quickly. While Minaj and Cyrus have been quiet on the topic since it transpired (even after MTV insisted it was not scripted), Cyrus’ Instagram followers aren’t letting it go easily.
Cyrus posted the above Instagram from the VMAs on Tuesday, two days after the show, and all anyone can comment on it are variations of Minaj’s “What’s good?!” barb. And it’s not just that particular Instagram. It’s also this one. And this one. This one even has it in Spanish. Poor Miley, she’s going to hear those words in her sleep. Here’s a sample.
All in all, it wasn’t the best night for Cyrus. Her performance as host got mostly negative reviews, and the ratings for this year’s broadcast fell from 2014, which was also down from the year before (though, to be fair, the 2015 broadcast was the most tweeted and streamed event in VMA history).
