He’s not the only star getting in on the action this go-around. There’s Kevin Hart, Kaley Cuoco, Shaquille O’Neal, Olivia Munn, Snoop Dogg’s questionable English accent, Hayden Panettiere, a Joel McHale/Jim Rash Community reunion, CeeLo Green, Gigi Hadid, something that might be a Mexican Trump-on-Trump makeout session and loads more gawking at material stuffed into this promo. Some contestants even have Christina Aguilera and a few Backstreet Boys popping up to lend assists. (There’s even bonus prop comedy™ from co-host Chrissy Teigen and her set of buttoculars.) It’s all ridiculous and wildly unnecessary and that’s probably what makes it such irresistible fun.
Legend (or more accurately, BuzzFeed) has it that Channing Tatum’s lip sync showdown with his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum will include an appearance from the mighty Beyoncé herself. If that’s the case, Twitter, Instagram, and Vine will likely fall into a simultaneous bliss coma.
LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen will co-host the brand new season of Lip Sync Battle on January 7, 2016 on Spike.
