Jack White played to a sold-out Madison Square Garden last night, but he didn’t come alone. After a jam-packed set list featuring songs from across his White Stripes, Raconteurs, and solo catalogs, the Nashville rocker brought out a special guest in local New York legend Q-Tip. During the encore, the two joined forces for White’s Lazaretto song “The Black Bat Licorice” and “Excursions”, off A Tribe Called Quest’s iconic 1991 album, The Low End Theory. And no, White’s grumpy face did not make an appearance.
Earlier in the night, White’s opening act Run The Jewels had a surprise guest of their own: Rage Against The Machine’s Zach de la Rocha. See footage of that collaboration here.
