The days of beef between Future and Drake are clearly long gone. Now, the Summer Sixteen tour bros and constant collaborators just keep churning out new music together. A little over a year after their joint-album What A Time To Be Alive, the duo is back with a surprise track “Used To This.”
The track is set to be on Future’s upcoming LP Beast Mode 16 with production from Zaytoven, due out later this year. It’s an auto-tune heavy number, with Drizzy and Hendrix flaunting their newfound wealth all over it. The video is full of J.J. Abrams-esque lens flares, and sees the duo observing and later joining a soccer game between two teams of beautiful women, while in their own personalized jerseys.
For Drake it’s just one of the many things he’s apparently working on for the foreseeable future. There’s of course the rumored and somewhat confirmed albums with Gucci Mane and Kanye West. Then his “playlist” EP due out this year More Life, from which he’s already dropped three tracks. And then there’s whatever he cooks up to deal with his feuds with Kid Cudi and Pusha T, so we can expect to hear a ton of new work from the 6 God for the rest of the year.
