Khalid Saw Somebody Performing His Hit ‘Location’ On The Street So He Made It A Duet

El Paso, Texas native Khalid is undoubtedly having the best year of his life. The singer hasn’t even turned 20 yet and he’s already locked in a Top-20 hit with “Location,” a Top-10 album with the scintillating American Teen and even nabbed a few big names for the remix to his big hit. It’s not even May yet, so who knows what he has in store for the rest of the year.

The teenage star in the making isn’t letting his newfound success get to his head though, as evidenced by these videos. Apparently, after hitting up Coachella for a surprise performance this past weekend, Khalid was walking the streets of Los Angeles when he came across a man singing his song on the streets. Rather than just walk past him, or drop a few bucks into a hat for his hard work, Khalid joined in on the fun, and made the performance by Johnny Martin a duet.

“I was walking around and overheard someone singing ‘Location’ and this is what happened afterwards” said Khalid on Twitter. He even posed for some pictures with fans afterwards. Just another day in the life of a guy with his song spinning on every Top 40 radio station in the country I guess. Check out another video of the performance below.
