Drake was one of The Weeknd’s biggest supporters posting his mixtape on his blog and appearing on a few tracks with him. But once The Weeknd decided not to join Drake’s label, OVO, their relationship became distant. They pretty much haven’t been seen together all year and certain lyrics from Drake can be seen as disses. Drake even tweeted, “You won’t get away with just a thank you…you owe me a favor…” In, “Started From The Bottom,” he raps, “We just want the credit where it’s due,” and says, “No New Friends.” These can be looked at as subs by some.
But Drake and The Weeknd were recently in the Time nightclub in Toronto parting together. Hopefully this means they can start making music again and The Weeknd will show up for Drake’s annual OVO Fest.
