After losing a unanimous decision against Anderson Silva at UFC 183 (Which he thought he won, of course), and then testing positive for marijuana in a post-fight drug screen, it looks like Nick Diaz is doing what everyone expected of him: announce his retirement from mixed martial arts.
Nick usually declares that he is “dun fighting” during the post-fight interview, stating that he hates fighting and doesn’t need it, only to come back a year later after Dana White has backed a dump truck full of money to his front door. If Nick stays retired for good, I’ll be sad since he always provided entertainment, both inside and outside the cage.
Whatever Nick ultimately decides to do with his life, I wish him the best, and I just hope that he keeps making fantastic instagram videos.
