And just when you thought Le’Veon Bell’s injury was the worst of Week 8, here comes Khiry Robinson of the Saints with a gruesome lower leg injury, one that will likely keep him out for the rest of the season.
Noted orthopedic doctor David Chao quickly diagnosed it as a tibia/fibula fracture on Twitter.
By video, KHIRY ROBINSON @Saints with tibia/fibula lower leg/ankle fracture. Likely surgery and injured reserve. Too bad.

Robinson was in an intense amount of pain as he was carted off the field in an air cast. Here is the NSFW video (if that’s your thing).

Sadly these are the kinds of injuries that are almost impossible to stop in football, and ones that hit running backs like Robinson the hardest. Should this be his last game, he finishes the season with 56 carries, 180 yards and four touchdowns as a backup to Mark Ingram.
