The New York Giants struck first in their trip to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Sunday, but Sean Payton and Drew Brees showed they still had a little bit of magic up their sleeves that, at one time, made them the most feared offense in the NFL. The Saints countered the Giants initial score with this flea flicker touchdown to Willie Snead that tied up the game.
This isn’t even the first flea flicker we had today, as the Steelers attempted one earlier against the Bengals. That one had a much less exciting result with Pittsburgh checking down to Le’Veon Bell for a short gain that got called back on a holding call.
Still, two flea flickers in the first quarter of the early games are a good thing. Every team should be required to run one at least once a week.
