Two things that people from central Pennsylvania love are football and beer. Thanks to City Brewing Co., a brewery based out of Latrobe, PA, those two things will come together in the form of a series of beers that will honor former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno.
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Jay Paterno — JoePa’s son/former quarterbacks coach — teamed up with the brewery to make several beers which will honor the Nittany Lions’ former longtime coach. The first one will be an American lager, which will be sold in a can. It’s scheduled to come out right before football season. City Brewing Co. will also release another beer, which it will start working on in July. It’s release date is unknown.
This will probably be a hit within 200 miles of State College, PA, but considering how Paterno’s coaching career ended, you can probably guess how most of the Internet reacted:

Joe Paterno has his own beer. The alcohol content is debatable, because his family is disputing the proof.
