There are cat-like reflexes, and then there are Adeiny Hechavarria reflexes. The Miami Marlins shortstop made an impressive one-handed grab during Saturday’s game against the Colorado Rockies—but it wasn’t while Hechavarria was playing defense. Teammate Jeff Mathis hit a foul ball that went behind home plate and near the on-deck circle where Hechavarria was standing. That’s when Hechavarria reached out, almost on instinct, and snagged the foul ball.
The Rockies went on to win 10-5, however.
