Ben Roethlisberger suffered an upper-body injury in the second half of the Steelers’ Wild Card playoff game against the Bengals in Cincinnati on Saturday night. The injury came by way of a Vontaze Burfict sack on the last play of the third quarter, in which Big Ben landed on his throwing shoulder as he went to the ground.
He was carted to the locker room soon after and, on his way, Cincy fans decided it would be a good time to rain cheers and trash down on the Pittsburgh quarterback. It’s well known that the two teams don’t like each other – and, like many before it, Saturday’s matchup saw heated moments – but this is just embarrassing for Bengals fans.
