Word around the Tweeters right now is that the weather looks pretty bleak in my beloved hometown of St. Louis, but the league has assured both teams that the game will be played tonight no matter what (UPDATE: They’re obviously playing). That’s awesome news, because either way I won’t be able to watch it tonight because I work too much and MLB.tv likes to take my money but only let me watch playoff baseball from really sh*tty angles (UPDATE 2: MBL.tv’s Postseason Package allows me to watch the ALCS but not the NLCS, so thanks for that, MLB).
That said, I’m glad we’re all back to loving the Cardinals and agreeing that they’re the best team to cheer for in the playoffs.

Of all people, Jeff Kent came to Matt Holliday’s defense for the slide that injured Marco Scutaro in Game 2. JEFF KENT! He told CBS Sports that Scutaro is a big boy and should have known to get out of the way faster. Well I should have known to invest in Apple when I was 2 but here we are now, thinking about leftovers.
MLB ALCS Game 4: New York Yankees at Detroit Tigers – 8:07 PM ET on TBS
There’s a rumor out there now that the Yankees intentionally leaked the story of Alex Rodriguez hitting on a female fan from the dugout – she has since been identified as Australian bikini model Kyna Treacy (see below) – so the team can direct fan negativity on him and run him and his remaining $100 million contract out of town. Spoiler Alert: The Yankees eat that entire contract because no team is taking that f*cking mess.
Also, the Yankees can’t lose tonight. Come on, make this fun.
