Let’s be honest here, college football doesn’t “officially” start until we hear “Comin’ To Your City” from Big & Rich on ESPN’s College GameDay. The show now has a new lead host with Rece Davis replacing the venerable Chris Fowler, who has moved on to call prime time games on the network. But everything else is the same. There’s Desmond, Kirk and of course, Lee Corso, the grandfather of ESPN’s college football coverage.
Week 1 kicked off in Arlington at AT&T stadium for a top 25 showdown between Wisconsin and Alabama. Naturally, there were lots of GameDay signs referencing Bama head coach Nick Saban. Did you know that he pays for Tinder?
