Washington Redskins quarterback (for now) Donovan McNabb may or may not have a football season in which to play this fall, so like many other NFL players, he took a second job. I’m guessing that his job will be a lot easier than that of some other guys.
McNabb will appear on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic talking about basketball during the NCAA men’s tournament. He’ll also appear on a talk show on the same network.
Most experts believe McNabb will be gone from Washington before opening day of the 2011 season because of guaranteed-money clauses in his contract.
This would work out great if Comcast could find someone to take over for McNabb in the last two minutes of each show. But no, I’m sure McNabb will do great in this role; he’s great in front of the camera, and very persuasive. I’m still buying that chunky soup because of him. I guess you are what you eat.
