Well, at least it’s good to know that race car drivers are humans and have road rage, too. During the Iowa Corn 300, driver Ed Carpenter gently reminded Sage Karam that he was none too happy with Karam’s driving style by giving him the one-finger salute. Afterward, Carpenter, who finished sixth, approached Karam, who finished third, to exchange some words.
“If it wasn’t for guys with experience driving with their heads on, he would be hurting himself and other people,” Carpenter said. “I think it’s ridiculous.”
That’s just racin’, folks.
