ESPN’ NFL Countdown crew paid tribute to their former host and colleague Stuart Scott in an emotional segment this afternoon. It was wonderful. His friend, Suzy Kolber, talked about their 20-year relationship which went well beyond the cameras. At one point, Trent Dilfer said “and Suzy, he loved you. Loved you like a sister.”
Suzy spent most of the segment fighting back tears and yet, continued on. Stuart would have been proud.
