There aren’t nearly enough comedy music tributes recorded about foreign NBA players these days. I really hate dishing out such a hot take to you guys like that, but Slovenian comedian Klemen Slakonja’s “Dragon, Dragone” tribute to Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic is making me demand that more global comedy icons get their sh*t together and start honoring their countries’ athletes more. As for Slakonja, he’s not mocking Dragić as much as he’s praising the athlete’s rise to prominence in the NBA, according to Suns.com, but this could all just be an elaborate ruse, because I don’t understand a word that he’s saying.
Fortunately, the Suns also provided some lyrics so you can sing along. Well, actually you can just comprehend along, and maybe try to figure out why there’s a random baby.
