I know Burnsy just posted a gallery of celebrities reacting to Andy Murray becoming the first British man since 1936 to win the Wimbledon Men’s Singles title, and I’m aware that gallery featured Loki from The Avengers. What it did NOT feature, however, was video of Andy Murray humping a giant trophy before crushing Heath Ledger’s Joker from The Dark Knight with a giant tennis ball, so for that, we turn to Taiwan Animation.
The best part of Next Media Animation’s recap of Murray’s win (besides King Leonidas slicing the Union Jack in half and Bradley Cooper commanding the tiger from The Hangover, of course … and the random Paddington Bear cameo, because “England”) is how geographically-specific the wacky Taiwan animators suddenly become. The gist of the video is that Murray won, but the story is that he’s Scottish, not British, and they say it in so many ways you can imagine an animator animating himself beating a dead horse with WHICH COUNTRY DID ANDY MURRAY COME FROM written across the side. Nobody does “subtle” quite like Taiwan.
The clip is after the jump.
And here, we … go.
I feel like they could’ve worked Loki in here somewhere.
