Cam Newton, 2015 NFL MVP, came out on the losing end of Super Bowl 50. He wasn’t very good, going 18-for-41 with 265 yards, zero touchdowns, an interception and two crucial fumbles — one that was recovered for a Broncos touchdown in the first quarter and another recovered late in the fourth quarter when Newton didn’t make the strongest of efforts to get it back.
Considering how the Internet feels about Newton — he dances and smiles and dabs and — there were certainly a few feelings shared in the aftermath of the Panthers’ 24-10 loss.
I’m not sure what this means because there’s never been a scene in a Superman movie where he recovers a fumble but you get the point.

Then there’s the mashup with the movie American Sniper.

It wouldn’t be a loss without some Crying Jordans.

Then there’s the psychoanalysis about his comfort level before the game.
Cam Newton is a great talent and a natural leader. But he got ahead of himself today. Seemed more comfortable pre-game than during the game.

This Pete Blackburn guy had some thoughts about Newton’s effort on his late-game fumble.
