Baseball’s biggest criticisms are that it’s boring as hell to watch (before the postseason) and there’s way too much downtime between plays. But it looks like this Japanese baseball player may have found an answer to keep fans from dozing off between pitches.

Okay, so maybe he did do all of that just to whiff the pitch at the end, but you can’t deny that you’re thoroughly entertained by his bat acrobatics and poses. Who cares about fundamentals, anyway? This guy has some excellent showmanship.
How long do you think it’ll take for MLB owners to encourage players to do this? Hell, one may already be drafting up a one-day contract to see if he can fill up some more seats.
