Kansas State is taking on Louisiana Tech on Saturday, and I don’t know what Bill Snyder said in the locker room to motivate his team but it clearly worked on defensive back Donnie Starks.
Although it certainly looked like his teammates had the tackle of a LA Tech ball carrier handled, Starks decided he would make sure of it by running full speed from the opposite side of the field and leaping into the pile head first.
Unfortunately for Starks, it didn’t quite work out for him as he planned, as he “pinballed” right off a teammate’s back and faceplanted.
‘A’ for effort though, Donnie.
