I’ve never been, but the internet has taught me that Russia is a weird place where weird things happen all the time. Bizarre things happen so frequently that car dashcams are basically standard over there.
With that in mind, it’s equally hilarious and unsurprising that Russia’s KHL Awards got a little strange this year. Alexei Anisimov took home the honors for “Best Ref” at the Russian hockey league’s annual awards ceremony, and he celebrated by getting half-naked and showing off his papa bear physique. His body is so official, it’s sure to wet your whistle.
Forget #DadBod, #RefBod is totally in now.
