Here’s an inspirational video of a different kind that involves a beauty pageant queen, because instead of telling us to work hard, stay in school, read books and take our vitamins so we can all end bullying together, Miss United States 2012 Whitney Miller shows us that stereotypes are for suckers. Having trained with UFC badass Cub Swanson and others, Whitney entered her first Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament and won the gold in gi and silver in no-gi. I’m no expert, but I think that’s pretty impressive. She’s currently sharing her journey to a black belt on Twitter and Instagram, so follow and whatnot.

NBA: Knicks at Pacers – 7 PM ET on TNT
NBA: Thunder at Rockets – 9:30 PM ET on TNT
The Pacers are cruising with the best record in the NBA while the Knicks are 8 games under .500 and a half game out of the No. 8 spot in the East. Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies are at .500 and are 3 games out of the 8 spot in the West. I’m not saying that the NBA is (STILL) broken, but ain’t enough duct tape in the world to fix this mess.
NHL: Kings at Blues – 8 PM ET on NBC Sports
This is a rematch of something, I’m sure. But hey, would it kill the Blackhawks to lose a game or two so the Blues can be in first? Jerks.
