On November 16, a team of former players from the NFL and Washington Redskins strapped on some flags to play a charity scrimmage game against the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team, and earlier this week, this video of highlights and information about the event hit YouTube. It’s a pretty strong, remarkable clip and I encourage everyone to watch and share it, because all of those guys are pretty amazing people.
Thursday Night Football: Chargers at Broncos – 8:25 PM ET on NFL Network
Can Keenan Allen record approximately 10 catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns? ANSWER ME GOD!!!
NBA: Clippers at Nets – 8 PM ET on TNT
NBA: Rockets at Trail Blazers – 10:30 PM ET on TNT
My favorite thing about the NBA every single season is how people overreact to teams that start off terribly. The Brooklyn Nets have been horrible and hilarious to watch for the most part, but it’s because they have a guy who has never coached before and a bunch of new players trying to get used to each other. Naturally, a bad start has made them a punchline, but if they eventually click? Watch out.
(Of course, I don’t want them to click, because it’s much more fun watching overpriced teams be terrible.)
NCAA Basketball: Maryland at Boston College – 7 PM ET on ESPNU
NCAA Basketball: FAU at DePaul – 9 PM ET on FS1
My least favorite thing about the NCAA basketball season is how we start with these awesome (yet meaningless) tournaments so great teams can play each other, and then that eventually fizzles out random weeknight games. I blame the government.
