NFL football is finally starting up and this was not lost on the staff of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In particular, a few of its newest members, namely Joe Theismann, Franco Harris, Richard Dent, Jim Brown and Bill Cowher. The former players were not the best at their new jobs, but there’s no way you’d get anyone to tell them that to their faces. Seriously, I know that this is a comedy bit, and I’m still kinda scared of Jim Brown.
He then went on a ten minute rant about how everybody in the modern NFL is soft.
