Paul George tried to get his frustrations out with a little footwork on Saturday night. It didn’t go well.
The Pacers star was ejected in the third quarter of Saturday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls after he kicked the ball into the face of a fan during a stoppage of play. George appeared to be trying to hit the basket support with the ball after a foul was called against him while guarding Chicago’s Jimmy Butler. After the kick went in the stands the officials called a technical foul on George, who left the game.
If you look closely, you’d see the ball actually bounced off the woman in the stands and also hit the person sitting next to her. That’s pretty impressive for just one kick.
The Pacers twitter account very matter-of-factly announced the ejection without mentioning the kick that got him the boot.
A technical foul has been called on Paul George, and he has been ejected from the game.

George did go over and apologize and hug the fan, who was very surprised to get that close to the action during a stoppage.

Aw. Still got kicked out of the game for it, and some think he might see disciplinary action for the move.
George also will draw attention from league office for that. He kicked a ball, trying to hit stanchion, and it went into stands and hit fan

Either way: stick to basketball, Paul. Soccer clearly isn’t your game.
