FACT: The Internet has become insanely more entertaining after parents decided to upload their kids’ football highlights to YouTube. Now, every week or so, we’re treated to some kid who’s like the next Bo Jackson, trampling would-be tacklers and stiff-arming little Jimmy en route to the end zone.
We also get bloopers, spectacular bloopers of little tykes running the wrong direction and/or just sitting on the field doing nothing. Again, highly entertaining.
This latest clip sums up Pee Wee football in a nutshell. One team tries an onside kick only to have the ball go backwards… and then nobody does anything. Everybody just sits there thinking there’s a do-over.
Finally, one smart lad’s like “forget you guys,” picks up the ball, and runs for a touchdown. He’s a winner, obviously.
As for the team in blue, they were sent home without orange slices. Punishment for arguably the worst onside kick the world has ever seen.
