Ryan Tannehill didn’t have an especially good Sunday afternoon. While the Miami Dolphins beat the Arizona Cardinals, they did it without Tannehill, who had to leave the game with a knee injury. In fact, one report out of Miami said that the fifth-year signal caller may be out for the year with a torn ACL.

Tannehill got injured during the game and had to head back into the team’s locker room. When he came out, he was out of his pads and stood on the team’s sideline to watch the remainder of the game. At one point, Tannehill was teary-eyed while watching the game and had to be consoled by a few of his teammates. A number of players went up to their quarterback and showed him love while he was overcome with emotion.
While Tannehill’s had plenty of subpar moments in a Dolphins uniform – heck, one of those moments happened earlier today when he threw one of the worst screen passes you’ll see – losing him for any period of time would be huge. When he’s on his game, as he was on Sunday, he’s capable of putting up big numbers against any defense. We’ll let you know when more info comes in about Tannehill’s injury.
