Senators Make Bet To Get Fat If Their Team Wins Super Bowl

As the Super Bowl is finally set with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers, the obligatory food bet between elected officials who have nothing better to do has finally been set. There’s nothing important going on, and if I were in office, I’d totally do it too.

Republican Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania have wagered a sampling of their state’s signature foods.

If the Green Bay Packers win, Toomey will send Johnson a delivery of Pittsburgh’s Primanti Bros. sandwiches, topped with French fries, coleslaw and tomatoes.

If the Pittsburgh Steelers win, Johnson will pay up with an assortment of Wisconsin bratwurst, cheese and beer.-WMUR.

Basically, someone’s going to get fat off of incredibly delicious food, regardless of which team wins the Super Bowl. Would I totally take a job as a senator of a state with successful sports teams to make bets so I can get the finest free food from other states? Absolutely.

I feel like we should give Idaho a team so that they can wager their great potatoes, or maybe Vermont for their tasty selection of cheeses. Would it surprise you that I’m not disgustingly fat but just like to talk about food? I’m very good at sounding fat on the Internet; just ask your mom about the conversation we had on bbpeoplemeet.com. No, I’m not going to link that.
