Rookie wide receiver Stefon Diggs has really made a name for himself on the Minnesota Vikings since having won the starting job a few weeks ago. This week, he submitted the best highlight of his young career.
Diggs was wide open on this play after a great move to beat Rashean Mathis, and if Teddy Bridgewater had thrown him an accurate pass, he would have had an easy touchdown.
However, Bridgewater’s toss was well overthrown, meaning Diggs had to lay completely out and make an incredible catch to secure the score.
Assuredly, Bridgewater was trying to throw a good pass, but it worked out for him and the Vikings as not only did they get the touchdown, but Diggs got a catch of the year candidate out of it as well.
