On the heels of Ernie Johnsons’s touching gesture for Stuart Scott at the Sports Emmy Awards, ESPN unveiled this memorial plaque at the SportsCenter studio. It’s chock-full of Stu Scott sayings, like, “Booyah” and “He’s livin’ la vida loca.”
Scott, along with his co-host Rich Eisen, is largely responsible for SportsCenter‘s tremendous popularity in the late ’90s and early ’00s.
He died on January 4 after a long battle with cancer.
