Ron Gardenhire was fired as manager of the Minnesota Twins on Monday, one day after the conclusion of his team’s 4th straight losing season, including last place finishes in the AL Central in 3 of the last 4 years.
We asked a random Twins fan his theory on why Gardy was fired.
“Well he gave Kevin Correia 23 starts,” said a random Twins fan. “I mean you just can’t do that and not expect to get fired.”
According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Twins have also let go Gardenhire’s entire coaching staff. So I guess you can say they were, GardenFIRED? No? Okay fine I won’t say it.
