Tom Brady gave a press conference on Tuesday. He was ostensibly there to talk about the upcoming NFL season, and in particular the fact he will miss the first four games of the season due to his Deflategate suspension. Brady said, among other things, that it “Will be very challenging, watching those games in September, but I’ll find ways to preoccupy my mind.”
Nobody cared about any of that though. Everybody was too preoccupied with Brady’s new haircut to pay attention to what he was saying. It’s not like Brady’s appearance and style hasn’t come up before. People have made fun of his hair and his boots and just about everything. He’s one of the most successful quarterbacks of all-time and he plays for a team a lot of sports fans hate. It only makes sense that he would be on the receiving end of a lot of jokes. That being said, this is a very bold choice for a haircut especially for an almost 40-year-old man in the year 2016.
