At the tail end of last night’s lopsided Pac-12 Championship Game between the Arizona Wildcats and Oregon Ducks, Arizona center Carter Wood allowed his nerves and stomach get the better of him on the field. He vomits right onto the football before the snap, providing a nasty surprise for his QB and the perfect symbol for how Arizona’s night went to that point.
Oregon beat up on the Wildcats, 51-13, so vomiting on the ball is really only slightly adding to that kind of embarrassment. It might also provide an excuse because according to SB Nation, Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright also threw up earlier in the game and was forced out.
