A few weeks back, we saw Zapruder-style clips of a show at the UCB Theater in Los Angeles that featured NBA stars Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan taking part in a live-read of the Space Jam script with a bunch of your favorite comedians and actors: Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer, Ben Schwartz, Danielle Fishel, and Seth Green, among others. Now, finally, we have the professionally produced highlights of the evening from Funny or Die. A few notes:
- Danielle Fishel — Topanga from Boy Meets World — provided the voices for Lola Bunny AND Nick Van Exel. America is a great and strong nation. Never forget that.
- Nick Kroll has never seen Space Jam. This is ridiculous.
- Yo. DeAndre Jordan’s Charles Barkley impression is ON POINT. Seriously, it might be one of the best ones I’ve ever heard. Skip ahead to the 7:00 mark if you don’t believe me.
In conclusion, yes, this is great, and I’m ecstatic that it happened. The end.
