Throwing a home run by the opposing team back on the field is probably a stupid idea, but if you’re going to do it, you better make sure you have the arm to get it there. Unfortunately, this Yankees fan seems to still be in spring training form.
Because ESPN doesn’t realize fans pegging each other is more exciting than the actual game, they didn’t show any replays, so it’s hard to tell who exactly the woman hit. But after reviewing the footage many times, it seems as though it hit the little boy in the green hat, who rubs his back as the camera pans out.
So I think what we’ve learned here is that Yankees fans like assaulting young kids with projectiles.
